The computer you are using does not have access to the eServices pages.
This could be for a number of reasons:

1.

You are using a computer that is outside the Monash University internal network eg via modem, Broadband. You will need to use the Monash VPN software to access this internal service.

2.

Your proxy setting is preventing you from accessing this service.
For Internet Explorer,
check the proxy setting under Tools\Internet Options\Connections\Lan Settings and select "Use automatic configuration script" with URL: http://www.monash.edu.au/proxy.pac
Otherwise, if the proxy setting is set up manually, check that monash.edu.au is added as an exception.
For Netscape 4.7x browsers,
check the proxy setting under Edit\Preferences\Advanced\Proxies and either select "Automatic proxy configuration" with URL:
http://www.monash.edu.au/proxy.pac
Otherwise, if the proxy setting is set up manually, check that monash.edu.au is added as an exception.
For other browsers,
check the proxy setting under the relevant preferences or options screens within the browser using the above settings.

3.

You are using a computer that is within the Monash Network but is not currently permitted to access eServices. eg Student subnet

If you do not have access and are using a computer within the Monash staff network please contact your IT support person with the notes below.

Notes for IT Professionals

  • Access via Monash Proxy farm is not enabled
  • Access is restricted to known staff subnets only. This may not include teaching rooms and lecture theatres, modem banks etc.
  • Access via broadband is not available without the Monash VPN software.
  • If manual proxy is used set monash.edu.au as an exception.
  • Please contact eServices@adm.monash.edu.au with the location & IP address of computers that are denied access to eServices.
