This route takes you through minor country roads with moderately steep hills and disused lanes, which may become muddy in wet weather over the course of 8 miles.

Begin the loop by leaving the Ti Chulainn Centre in Mullaghbane to your right hand side. At the end of the road turn left and almost immediately left onto the Mill Road.

Continue along to the end of the Mill Road and go straight across the Crossmaglen / Newry Road onto Mullaghan's Road. Turn left onto Cowans Road and follow onto the junction with the B30 Crossmaglen / Newry Road at Mullaghbane. Go straight across the B30 and turn left along Tullymacrieve Road.

Turn right at Ballinaseck Bridge onto Ballinaseck Road, at the junction continue left to Cashel Road and left then onto Cnoc an Damhsa Road continuing onto Cranny Road. Once at Cranny Road turn right onto Lough Road.

Continue along toward the junction with Upper Road and turn left immediately onto Forkhill Road proceeding into Mullaghbane Village following the signs back to the Ti Chulainn Centre.
