The lake is stocked 2-3 times annually with Trout only. Season from 1st March to 31st October. Methods of fishing are fly-fishing and worm, no spinning or netting. Bag lime of 2 fish per day. Rod Licence required.

From Mullaghbane turn right at Cranny Road and then turn left at Lough Road. This trout fishery is situated on the outskirts of Mullaghbane, close to Cloverhill Golf Course.

Permit can be obtained from Mr Pat McKenna, Mullaghbane Post Office.
