Clay Lake is known for its large Perch, heavy Pike, and Rudd.
Season runs throughout the year and all lawful methods of fishing are permitted with the exception of maggots and bround bait. Bag limit of 2 Pike perday and any over 4kg must be returned.
Over 18's require Fisheries Conservancy Board Licence and Coarse Fishing Rod Licence, under 18's require none. Over 18's require DCAL Fishing Permit, under 18's require none.
From Newry travel north via A25 to Newtownhamilton and continue on A29 to Keady. Turn left onto the B3 for 2km and lake is on the left.
