This large disused reservoir is well stocked with pike,Bream, Roach, Perch and fishing is free to licence holders.
Licence: Foyle, Carlingford and Irish Lights Association. All lawful methods of fishing accepted.
For boat permit please contact Tourism Department, Newry and Mourne District Council, 028 3031 3255.
DIRECTIONS
From Newry, drive through Camlough and then take the Crossmaglen Road. You will pass the lake on your left. The road drives along the dam, giving easy access, but the lake is also used for water sports, so a walk to the far end can be well worth the effort.
