Clay Lake is known for its large Perch, heavy Pike, and Rudd.
Season runs throughout the year and all lawful methods of fishing are permitted with the exception of maggots and bround bait. Bag limit of 2 Pike perday and any over 4kg must be retur
Danes Cast Fishery has 2 Spring fed lakes approximately 11/2 acres per lake. Fy fishing only on both lakes with fish stocked up to 6lb. Danes Cast is on the Tandragee Road, Jerrettspass, 4 miles from Newry – 15 miles from Dundalk – 30 miles approxi
The lake is stocked 2-3 times annually with Trout only. Season runs from 1st March to 31st October. Methods of fishing accepted are fly and worm. Bag limit of 2 fish per day. Parking is on the Glassdrummond Road. A Rod Licence is required.

Lough Ross lies about a mile west of Crossmaglen and is accessed on the Southern side off the Castleblayney/Cullaville(Dundalk) road. Angling for bream, roach, or pike is done mostly from the lakeside amenity area. The border bisects the lake.
