| Wee Binian is one of the smaller peaks, Slieve Donard at 2796 feet the highest (and you'll need serious boots and stamina for this one). In fact, on a good day (and the weather is very changeable), it is possible to see the Isle of Man. The ten rambles on the agenda cover the Mournes and South Armagh and can even take you accross the border to County Louth in the Republic of Ireland. Many routes swoop by Lough Neagh, known locally for its healthy supply of eels. You can be sure that the temptation to rest in the evening is bound to disappear - these Northern Irish folk like to party hard! Admission: £10 per walk For further info please contact Anita McNabb on 028 90 669718 |
